Final Project: First Sketch

For the Three Dice Project, I have rolled Printmaking, Digital Drawing and Printing, and Experience as three elements to incorporate into my project. 

I want to start by creating digital drawings and then use laser cutter to cut those patterns on a wooden board. After doing that, I will transfer paint from the wood onto a piece of pater using traditional printmaking techniques. By creating different molds, I will try to form multiple layers on the paper expressing my memories and my reflections on different periods of time and particularly highlighting the contrasts in my experiences of the past, present, and future. Meanwhile, I want to connect my memories of the past, present, and future with the traditional and modern, old and new technologies utilized in this project.

If I have enough time to create a handcrafted printmaking mold, I would also like to use traditional printmaking to represent the past. After transforming the patterns onto a piece of paper, I would scan it and use digital printing to symbolize the present and incorporate interactive elements to give a sense of futuristic.
