About Me
I graduated as a Media Studies student from Peking University, and I am currently a first-year graduate student at Teachers College of Columbia University, majoring in Art and Art Education.
Since I was young, I’ve had a deep passion for photography. Over time, I started using visual storytelling, including short film and video, as a way to express my thoughts. This creative process has allowed me to explore both my inner self and the world around me, deepening my understanding of who I am and forging a stronger connection with society.
As a creator, my work often addresses complex issues such as generational divides, tensions between individuals and institutions, and social inequalities. As a female creator, I am especially drawn to themes such as gender identity, the gender gaze, female growth, and the intimate relationships of friendship and love among women. My aim is to create work that is both warm and profound, offering viewers a sense of healing and understanding.
